Campus Directory

Josh developed the back-end for Valdosta State University’s “Campus Directory” in PHP and MySQL. Campus department administrators can now create, read, update, and delete faculty and staff members within Cascade Server, the web service’s content management system (CMS). Josh created a script to pull these entries from within the Cascade Server and store them in a MySQL database for quick web user access. This allows the site access to a database of information about each employee, from which website users can now search for individual faculty or staff member’s campus contact information. Josh continued to update the code and database as the project continues to evolve over time, adding custom features.
